Commitment to supporting sustainability issues
In order to demonstrate the centrality of sustainability issues, Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking adheres – directly or through subsidiaries – to the following initiatives:
- United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), an initiative promoted by a group of institutional investors in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and aimed, through the 6 key principles, at promoting the theme of sustainable investments in the world. The signatories undertake to follow the six core principles of the initiative and to promote the integration of ESG issues into their investment processes1
- Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative (NZAMI), a global initiative launched in December 2020 to support asset managers committed to supporting the goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with efforts to limit global warming to 1.5°C, by supporting investments aligned with this goal2
- Forum for Sustainable Finance, a non-profit association that promotes the knowledge and practice of sustainable investment, with the aim of spreading the integration of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria into financial products and processes.

Mentoring for the future of female university students
Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, together with the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has backed the project - "YEP - Young Women Empowerment Program - Mentoring for the future of female university students”. Conceived to encourage inclusion and gender equality among female students in Southern Italy, the project offers professional development opportunities for female students enrolled in master's degree courses in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and economics subjects.
Free professional retraining programme in digital mode for unemployed people over 40 years of age
Promoting the growth and renewal of skills in digital mode, completely free of charge, for unemployed middle-aged people is the objective of Digital Restart.
The Data Analysis Master's Degree, strongly supported by Fideuram - Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, was created together with Talent Garden Innovation School (the International School for professional growth of Talent Garden).
The innovative professional retraining programme aims to develop digital skills that can help unemployed people aged between 40 and 50 years, domiciled or resident in the Lombardy Region, to find a new place in the job market.
